How the tracker works

  1. You add prompts — conversational questions your customers ask Perplexity — and the brands to track.
  2. Every 24 hours SALTEN asks Perplexity each prompt from a resident IP in the project country and stores the full answer, its features (web search, shopping, comparison) and fan-out queries.
  3. An extraction pipeline detects brand mentions (aliases and transliteration-aware), rank, sentiment phrases and every URL the engine used or cited.
  4. Results are aggregated daily per model, country and topic into Visibility, Position, Sentiment, Share of Voice and source tables you can filter, export or query via API/MCP.
